SKELETAL SYSTEM
Why are bones important and whats in them?
Your bones are very important relating to the structure of your body. Without your bones you'd be a pile of muscles, skin and organs on the floor. They also help protect your organs.
While they project, they also make things for your body. Inside your bones there are a few different things. The outside is the tough hard bone that we know, and directly on the inside there is a spongy bone material. In the middle of your bones there is bone marrow which creates red blood cells that go into the circulatory system.

Drinking dairy products (which contain calcium) will help your bones grow strong! Exercise and healthy habits will also make sure your bones are nice and strong. Your body takes in these nutrients in the digestive system.
